U.S. Hwy 51. Lewis and Clark spent six days here at the Ohio River’s confluence with the Mississippi. Fort Defiance Park was once the site of a key Union outpost during the Civil War. The Cairo Customs House Museum, the Magnolia Manor and Riverlore Mansion are also popular with visitors.
